A Little Bit About CW...

Charles’ music and lyrics relates about the everyday joys and struggles that we all experience at one time or another, pulling the listener in to identify, as well as enjoy the stories and ballads.

He completed his Bachelor's Degree in Music from Radford University, majoring in Voice with a minor in Guitar. Pop, folk and rock influences have blended with his formal training that has evolved into a style that reaches into the soul and heart with and obvious spiritual influence.

But it doesn't stop there. Charles William has a charisma and presence that is easy to relate to and that simply warms the heart and soothes the soul.

Born and raised in the Southwestern Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, in a peaceful and family oriented town called Dublin, as well as growing up in the city of Asheboro, N.C, Charles William's values his history. He brings a gentle manner and respect that is a reflection of his southern heritage.

Dream Girl is his first official compilation, as he has written songs his entire life, but has never taken the time to record any, until 2008.

Charles has performed at various venues and showcases in the Los Angeles and Orange county areas, such as The Mint, Hallenbecks and Genghis Cohens. Living now in Huntsville, Alabama, he can be found most weeks at local songwriter venues (The Coffee Tree and The Daily Brew in Decatur, AL) as well as other events. He has performed at The Station II and also sang and produced the Inaugural Songwriter Round at Valley Hill Country Club, which was a capacity event!!! He also has performed at the Nashville Palace and also The Commodore, in Nashville, TN.  He is available for singer/songwriter venues, or even for venues needing traditional covers from folk, rock and pop veins.

Take some time and listen to what he has to say, and perhaps these first songs will touch you in some way, as they have touched him, to write and sing them. Lyrics are also included.
